The women who say this are inevitably the dumpiest, frumpiest women on earth. Enjoy your visible grey and sensible shoes.

I didn’t write that but I think they look trashy too. And very unsanitary. I don’t wear grey sensible shoes.

I DIY dip powder. I have hideous natural nails (wide, short and paper thin) and the powder gives them enough strength so they can at least be a normal length, like barely approaching the fingertip normal.
I don’t actually care what they look like but women were constantly commenting about them (girl you need a manicure type comments) so I’m just trying to fit in.

I tried a bunch of press ons and settled on the brand called Nail Refarmation. Their nails and amazing quality and come in all sorts of lengths and shapes. I get this glue different glue from a company https://www.curvlife.com/products/semi-solid-glue-new-upgrade-super-strong-quick-drying-with-remover-kit-johnny

They last me weeks at a time and I do all of the normal dish washing and house cleaning stuff.

I too do press ons. I can get KISS Impress to last me 2 weeks, which is a week longer than advertised.

The kiss ones look like trash on me. The curve doesn’t fit the nail bed. There’s a brand I like but it’s $$$

After having so many manicurists say I had nice nails (long nail beds, who knew), I stopped going completely. I don’t put anything on them. I don’t even keep them super short. Just natural.

For you, dear. For you. I like something different and will continue to have long nails.

I polish my nails at home with one of the two nail polishes I have. One is a sparkly gold, and one is clear with a light pink tint. This is done maybe three times a year. I probably have very healthy nails.
