Hollister and Brandy Melville.

Brandy is really reasonable ($18 for a tank top) and is actually really good quality for the price, idk what the pp are going on about. Their pants are unlikely to fit though and you need to check fit in store for a 12 yo

I was just reading that Brandy M has closed all dressing rooms. Most of their stuff fits someone who is XS or S. So be aware you'll have to buy and then return what doesn't fit.

The owner of Brandi Melville is an admirer of Hitler and hates Jews. There is physical verification on this . People who continue to shop there are either uninformed or don’t care.

There’s a lot more there than just that. So it’s fine to shop there with all the other racist and misogynist crap he’s done? It only crosses the line at antisemitism!??

I understand there’s a lot just as horrible going on at the company but I didn’t want to write a long thing. People can research it. They should.

DP, you can take that side argument right over to politics.

DD13 wears mostly Mango brand and UA, also Athleta, Uniqlo, plus some target pants & jeans due to tiny waist. She’s not interested in clothes that are too revealing and she’s on the smaller side.

Let her get online and show you. It's very easy to shop nowadays! She'll find the cami she likes in an instant on the Hollister website.

My 14 year old has the FP shirt and I would not have let her wear it at 12!

Tell her to ask her friends what the brand is. I've always told DD if you see a friend where an item of clothing you like - ask them and show me. So she would come home and say "Larla had on a top I liked. It's from Aerie." Then we would get on the site together and look at it.

This. Likely they are already doing this and that's why she knows that Hollister and Aerie are popular brands. Kids talk about brands a lot, like way more than adults, because it's all new to them and they are trying to understand how clothes and shopping work. They will literally say things to each other like "I love my Hollister sweatshirt, it's my favorite, I only wear my Old navy sweatshirt if the Hollister sweatshirt is dirty." So they know.

My daughters both have the Henley camis from Hollister and the reversible camis. Maybe it's one of those?

This list plus edikted and lululemon is what mine wears. Lots of basic tank tops seems to be the summer staple.
