They're nestled in at Claremont McKenna, Baylor, Hillsdale, University of Austin, a few at Stanford, BYU. They tend to be very prominent in law school, because like religion, law is a made up practice with a ton of circular reasoning that can justify cruelty.

And older conservatives like David Brooks and Andrew Sullivan and George Will and so on who do have the academic chops to teach are repelled by the Trump Republicans.
So which group of "conservatives" is a university supposed to hire from? Choose the second group and MAGA will still be outraged.

Define leftist indoctrination and why wouldn't right-leaning indoctrination occur? Much of Sherif Girgis's viewpoint is informed by Catholicism, which is a mythical belief in a sky daddy that informs a chosen aristocrat to tell you to love and hate certain people by twisting sacred texts. That isn't very educating, just propaganda sanctioned by a religion.
Your response is a great example of leftist indoctrination.
I'm a Christian and probably far more moderate than you. The Catholic Church is just an absolute joke and easily the worst institutional force in our human history.

Go away.

Is it not implicit we would be discussing fields where political views are revealed? No one is upset that there aren't enough conservative mathematicians.
It is, in fact, not implicit. First, I don't think the "viewpoint diversity" crowd is operating in that much good faith. Second, I am a social scientist, and I don't think that just because someone is in a field related to...society in any way...it's necessary or responsible for them to share their political views. We deal in data.
