I live my life straight and have only ever romantically wanted to be involved with men… however, I frequently fantasize about sex with women. I also have experienced a lightning strike kind of attraction to 3 women in my life. Like my body responds physiologically to them and I am very turned on. (This happens to me with men all the time.) I used to not understand the Glennon Doyles or Anne Heches of the world until that moment happened to me.

I had romantic dates with some women who were interested in me, but they were not that sexually attractive in order to progress to anything beyond a date or two.

I think deep down I’m straight, but I still get bi panic. I’ve never hooked up with another woman, and I don’t know that I will. Maybe if I was this open minded when I was younger and single I don’t know. I strongly prefer men though.

I am mostly heterosexual but on a few occasions have been sexually attracted to some women. Most of my relationships have been with men but I’ve been in a sexual and romantic relationship with a woman and have had sex with a few others.

I find women beautiful and attractive but have never felt a desire to do anything sexual with another woman.

Sexuality is a scale...0 to 10, if you want. Pick one end for hetero, the other for homo, and the middle for bi. People fall on that scale in many different places...2, 8, 10, etc.

I thought I was asexual because I never felt like I wanted to have sex with a man. I had crushes and felt romantically attracted, but didn’t want to have sex. I got married to a man, and we do have sex regularly. But I also thought it was weird that I was sort of mesmerized by a few women (liked being friendly with them, and being around them, they were very positive and strong willed). I have never had a crush on a woman, but have felt a weird attraction towards a few, nothing sexual. I felt ashamed and thought I was lesbian (my parents are very anti-gay), so reading these posts is very reassuring.

Sometimes I fantasize about other women sexually - - I even occasionally have dreams that I am in bed w/another woman.
I once had a lap dance by a woman at a strip club and it was sensual.

However I love men and would never get with another Female…..
I just like keeping it in my mind only.

This is me. I consider myself straight but there have been a few women (maybe 4 or 5 in my 40 years?) Where I have felt pretty attracted to them. It’s taken me by surprise.
