Because wet wipes flushed down your toilet congeal into those giant blobs that destroy your pipes.
I don’t wipe before using the bidet, and then I need less toilet paper because I’m clean.
Don’t ever dribble feces during the transition over? How do you avoid that? Seems like I know the answer, and it’s such a waste of toilet paper and water.
No. We get trained early on. I even washed my babies after every poop before putting fresh diaper on them. They had no diaper rashes or UTI infections.

I can understand using just toilet paper after peeing but you've to wash after pooping. So unhygienic and gross to use only toilet paper to clean poop.

You use toilet paper to touch things others would've touched and wash your poop, not just spread around with some toilet paper. Once out of toilet area, there is always a wash basin with water, soap and towel, if there is no sink in toilet cubicle.

The home has the self-installed one that you can get at Home Depot not the one that is separate from the toilet. There were not paper towels provided or towels/wash cloths. I’m curious though, do people use toilet paper after? Pull up their pants while damp?
I'm Muslim and we've both bidets, toilet paper in bathrooms, as well as paper towels and disinfectant spray, hand soap and towels. Most people in my circle are the same. Many don't keep disinfectant spray and paper towels in toilet, only hand soap/towel outside but you can take some toilet paper to hold bidet nozzle, just like you would to touch flush tank handle.

Non Muslims use toilet paper so no drips
Not sure what Muslims do- air dry for a few minutes?

Poop, bidet, wipe to dry. I've never used a separate bidet. My parents have one and it seems like you'd finish using the toilet, then you move to the bidet.
Wet wipes just generate trash. They also don't get you as clean as a bidet IMO.
Frankly, you should not be using other people's bidets, nor pooping at someone else's home (unless it's an emergency).
