Anonymous wrote:In addition to not paying gas taxes to upkeep roads, EVs weigh much more than ICE vehicles and their increased weight is more of a burden on roadways. And while they might not pollute the air directly, they charge with power that is usually based off of releasing carbon and more importantly the batteries that they use are incredibly toxic and almost impossible to dispose of in a way that doesn’t damage the environment.
