Avatar the Last Airbender is a fantastic show (nothing to do with the James Cameron movies).

Probably Parent Trap is the best. It was filmed at an actually sleepaway camp in Maine (the Patty Duke one). I prefer the OG Parent Trap, but kids may like the Lindsay Lohan one better…maybe there is an even newer variation.

My kids just watched The Hollow. Not educational but really interesting, like LOST but for a cartoon for kids. Ages 8 and 10. Also Avatar the Last Airbender, Last Kiss on Earth. Not educational but long arc stories my kids were really interested in

YMMV on darker themes and scares but my kid loves dinosaurs and those are both good coming of age stories. 8yo POC kid.
