No shame, but realistically, the yellow team is probably comparable to DC-VA. TBH, the Red team may be as well considering a lot of good MD, DC, VA girls choose All America

The yellow team is the MD AS B team, but like a PP said, sometimes the way the teams are selected doesn’t make sense, and it’s hard to know how the MD teams will stack up against the DC/VA team. If your DD is still motivated to play on AS, she can still enjoy the experience and meet other girls in her age group regardless of which team she is on.

Totally depends on where the evaluators put players. Some years their picks make no sense, with mediocre players picked for the red team and true A level players on the yellow team. It’s just depends on where their head is when the choose their teams.

I can only speak for 2028's. 1/2 hour of warm ups 2 1/2 hours of sixes on 3 fields. It was very hot so the evaluators all went and sat together under a tent on the sidelines in front of the middle field so hopefully your kid got a lot of time on the middle field (that didn't have any goalies as only 4 goalies were there). I am guessing the 2028's had about 85 total.
