Why do all of these exams need to be right now when school ends June 17? I get that some kids are seniors and need to do them earlier but this is putting so much undue stress on the juniors and it is unnecessary.
For a school system that pretends to care so much about mental health, this is NOT a way to show that you care.
Troll. AP exams don't take an entire day. Mine took AP Lit in the morning, then went to her two afternoon classes.
And the AP classes are not doing tests, finals or learning anything these two week since half of the kids or more are missing due to AP exams, or leaving school after their tests.
That’s true but in DCs case she had a poster due last week for an AP class, just prior to that class’ AP exam. With the other AP exams last week, drawing a poster during this period was kind of stressful for her.

I agree they should pause testing the week of AP exams. DC may be able to ask the other teachers to move their test to the following week. I find most teachers are flexible and kind if asked.

Yes, teachers are burned out. Have you tried the job? The phrase "teacher tired" exists for a reason.
Teachers have to get grades in ASAP. Seniors need final transcripts for college, etc. There's a ton of accountability placed on teachers at the end of a year, considerably more than you're likely aware of.
Not every thread needs to become a dig at teachers.
