Splurge: a Brazilian every 4 weeks. I could do it at home but would chicken out after the first strip.

Which drugstore shampoo do you like?

Can you recommend good thrift stores? I keep wanting to be a thrift store person, but the stores I've tried are full of clothes that, well, I'd probably donate to thrift shop myself because I don't wear them.

Not PP, but I have found some of my favorite stuff at Unique. It's definitely full of awful clothes though -- you have to be patient and willing to comb through an awful lot of junk.

I've tried them all! I swear to you, Suave is the best! For both shampoo and conditioner. Am partial to the coconut. I also like Herbal Essences.

The best shampoo depends on your hair and scalp.

+1
And changing things up. Suave clarifying shampoo is great, and then I get some hair masks for in between.

Splurges: Haircut and highlights, high end makeup, good shoes, nice perfume.

Pert plus smells amazing but weights my hair down. I wish they would make pert shampoo without the conditioner maybe that would be better for thin, fine, fly-a-way hair.

The best beauty save is a 100% coco butter stick. Forget about that palmers crap.

Saves: Oil of Olay moisturizer, Trader Joe's cleanser, do my own manis and pedis, I quit getting highlights and am mostly happy with that decision

Splurges: GLP1, personal trainer, Prose custom shampoo and conditioner, Lush peppermint foot cream, occasional head spa, Byredo Mojave Ghost scent, Dyson hair dryer

Maybe soon: upper and lower bleph, or maybe just botox and fillers, not sure yet

My saves: I do my own mani/pedis and hair color
Splurge: good haircuts, lower blepharoplasty

Who do you recommend for lower Bleph? Approximate cost?

Not PP, but I met with Dr Naz, and I liked her -- lower bleph was estimated at 11k.
