Picked and then what? These clubs are not very effective college placement vehicles . Aside from some low quality placements and helping your DD play a sport , they are useless.

I think all these clubs probably have the same issues. Some girls are preselected as the darlings and they get the extra attention. Just have to tell your DD to just play.

That’s a pretty solid excuse for paying $4k per year + tournament fees + HC’s travel expenses to end up at the bottom of the ECNL conference. Almost winning every game you play is right where they want you. Mediocrity works for most for a reason.

*pretty much w caveats* 2011 vda team was Mid and the birth year changes should fix those glaring issues luckily. Still the team to be with at this age group and older. Might be the top team after bsc got birth yeared. Jefe Cup will be interesting next season.

Go where you can showcase your skills and get good exposure. Names and badges won’t get you recruited.

I’m not taking my kid to Bethesda to be verbally abused by the coaches or one of 25 on a roster. You do what works for you, I’ll do what works for me

Not everyone can make Bethesda and there is one really horrible club across the water. Players have options and will explore them given the opportunity

United plays awful and wont have one single team with a winning record this year. Make a sacrifice and drive somehwere if you are serious about the game.
