That is before the deadline.

That tracks based on what we hear from our kid's friends staying where they are and turning Walls down.

I predict the waitlist for Walls will move even more in the next few weeks as some kids on the waitlist will also reject the offer.

Thomson parent here: glad you got in! It's a small, welcoming school. I hope your kid likes it.

We also moved up about 10 spots for Garrison Prek3. Seems like a big jump? Curious the driver for that!

The last two years, Garrison has made 9-10 offers in June for PK3, so that doesn't seem too far off what's typical.

They may also be able to move PK3 a little faster because they don't have to worry about random IB kids showing up late in summer like they do for K-5.

Are you IB or OOB?

Our Garrison K number increased by 1 in April. Garrison 1st didn't move. We have friends with a PK4 and a 2nd grader whose Garrison waitlist numbers didn't move in April. According to this post, PK3 increased 5 (though that could be new IB kids doing post lottery applications? Five is a lot though).

Based on my logic, that means that some PK3s got sibling preference and a K got sibling preference. So they must have made some offers - which means the offers they made in April were in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade? The last two years, they haven't made any June offers for grades 3-5. And they must have made more than one or two to get catch so many siblings.

Hmm...
