You literally came on this forum to trash a part of the BCC program that wasn't even discussed. The discussion was about BCC Select and KOA BABL. Go complain elsewhere.
Nope. The years between elementary and high school are short. You can judge the quality of an organization by its leadership. Business 101. Parents should know as much as possible before they spend their money on a BUSINESS that does not prioritize their kid’s experience or mental health over adult egos.
Okay, please elaborate on your experiences with BCC high school travel teams if you would like people who are looking at Selects to understand more about the organization. It looks like BCC offers travel or house/rec league for high school so the middle option of selects goes away after middle school.
I don’t owe you details. I stand by what I wrote:

I have been around youth sports for decades. I don’t like how BCC operates. They are not in it for youth athletes. Your values may be different than mine.

Some coaches are genuinely invested/knowledgeable and others are not. There are weird politics involved in the draft as well. We did not have a great experience and moved to BABL (koa) which was better in that the evaluation was done by professional coaches and then the teams had non-parent coaches. We moved on to koa’s travel program (Waves) from there.
