They can get sperms and embryos from fertility banks to become moms, even delegate whole thing to surrogates and nannies.

Don't forget pharmaceuticals. Lots of women on anti anxiety/depression meds to get them through their male-less paradise.

I suspect that more married women need them than singles.

And lots of married women are on meds as well so they can deal with their husbands. 🤷‍♀️

I mean, it’s fine, no judgement. I don’t think there is anything wrong with any individual who chooses to live this lifestyle. It just seems kind of sad overall.

I'm married to a man and honestly, I feel this. Sometimes I feel like a sucker.

It was easier to have kids with a husband, I'll say that. But I have three different friends who went the single-mom-by-choice route. Higher up front costs but it honestly seems easier in the long run.

I agree that it is easier to have kids with a husband.
But anytime a woman who doesn’t want kids or is done having kids gets into a serious relationship with a man, I’m like “why?”

Because men are wonderful! What am I missing?

They have to wear you down so they can sell you the stuff to build you back up.

I honestly don't even know what you mean by this. Take WHAT personally? The fact that they are single? How can you take that personally, what does that even look like? I might take it personally if you keep throwing it in my face: "Hey Larla, you dumb britch! You're single!!! hahahahahahah"

But aside from that, I'm not sure what the issue is there.

I don't take the mere fact of being single personally. I do take HOW this came to be very personally. So if someone is prickly about being single, perhaps it is more to do with what they've been through and less about the singleness itself.

Now that I find myself single, I plan to stay here indefinitely.

because a lot of them don't have enough self- esteem or dependent on men for some of the basic things.

I don’t know. If I look back at all the men I’ve dated, I think it’s a miracle any of us settle for any of them.

They don't?

What they mind is people commenting on their singleness, including posts like this.

I've been married 25 years but I was the last of my friends to marry.
