We did give them gift and took them out for dinner night after graduation day but nothing extravagant as they don't see undergrad degree as a huge accomplishment.

The bolded is not really College Graduation Celebration. This is the post college set-up or some sort of wealth transfer. We are taking our family (uncles, aunts, cousins, siblings etc) to a fancy expensive dinner to celebrate the graduations. And that will be all as far as celebration is concerned. DC does not want a graduation party. But, we are paying for deposit and 1st month rent for an apartment in the other coast, professional clothes and gear, setting up the apartment, new sedan, $10K in the bank, 529 in Roth, airfare...for now. Everything you listed is a form of wealth transfer and is so much more than most college grads are getting.
