I've tried it and had a bad reaction (felt completely numb emotionally and passed out)... I'm afraid that cymbalta would be the same since it's also a SNRI.

SNRI also dulls the edge for me. With anxiety, chronic pain, and hot flashes. My depression also lifted. Think it took my inflammation down overall.

Oh, I don't? Sorry, it must be my decade of gastroenterologists telling my chronic, watery diarrhea with cramping was my "anxiety."

An SSRI helped my chronic back pain 30 years ago. It's worth a try. I think it's generally suggested to give it about 6 weeks, unless the side effects are intolerable.

I hope you get some relief soon.

Same duloxetine helped. Still have pain but it’s better and also easier to deal with. Acupuncture also helps.
