+1 I know teachers quitting mid year last year didn’t make parents happy.

People are really entitled and impatient in the morning. If your time is so precious that you can’t wait for maybe an old grandparent or someone who doesn’t always use the kiss and ride to figure out the flow, then maybe put your kids on the school bus and avoid the dreaded kiss and ride. There is no reason for so many parents to drive their kids to school in the first place (with the exception of snowcrete). Having principals act like police officers is really ridiculous, but some on here seem to see it as his biggest contribution to Navy.
The ones who don’t use the kiss n ride and don’t know how it works are so annoying. They are often the ones who try to pass, too. Parents please don’t send slow grandma or grandpa to drop your kid off at kiss n ride. Have them take them to the bus!

Not Navy: Mine were walkers, but when the weather was awful I would drive them. Two or three people not following the protocol can slow things way down for everyone. You know, the ones who get out to hug the kid--or are not ready to unload, even though they have been waiting in line for ten minutes. Sure, there are exceptions--the one who has to unload a large musical instrument or the science project. But, there are some who just don't get it.

That’s always been the case though. Parental support and tutoring are the norm at Navy. And don’t get me started on all the AAP prep/angst.

People are more likely to follow directions when the principal or AP is out vs some aides. My guess is they would talk to them if they weren’t following rules.
