The curriculum is completely watered down, but that maybe an FCPS issue more than a Navy issue. They certainly still have some gems among the staff, but the overall quality of teaching has definitely gone down and the teachers seem really checked out. Lukewarm on new admin. Nothing great coming out of there really.
I'm not sure that there is anything that would make Navy parents happy.

What has changed?
Multiple people with authority stand outside enforcing rules on a consistent basis.
What can they do if parents don't follow directions?
The principal will literally go up to the cars and tell off the parents. I’ve watched him do it multiple times.
So he can't do anything really then. I guess if someone was a big enough jerk they could still hold everyone up like before.

People are really entitled and impatient in the morning. If your time is so precious that you can’t wait for maybe an old grandparent or someone who doesn’t always use the kiss and ride to figure out the flow, then maybe put your kids on the school bus and avoid the dreaded kiss and ride. There is no reason for so many parents to drive their kids to school in the first place (with the exception of snowcrete). Having principals act like police officers is really ridiculous, but some on here seem to see it as his biggest contribution to Navy.

It why would they? The entire school staff and parents would consider them a-holes.
