I have not listed to any morning radio show consistently in years (used to listen to Kane and Bobby Bones all the time) but forgot my phone running errands and turned on 99.5 this morning. I didn’t recognize the voice and realized something was up. Intern John and Erick have been there forever.

Wow. You think it’s good that someone lost their livelihood?
Agree with PP about the voice.
I don't think his profession was the best match for his skillset. He was lucky to last as long as he did.

Anonymous wrote:I'm surprised they would have to lay any one off. It's like nonstop commercials, so you think they'd have enough money.
I HATE war of the roses. It's just so fake. I do like however the radio shows where they have people call in and talk about the wild stuff going on in their lives, using a fake voice. Stuff like coworkers sleeping together, friends having a baby with another man, etc.

There doesn't seem to be a show, per se. Mike Klein (sp?) is filling in and Rose is doing news, traffic, and entertainment.

I think it was IJ, Sos, and Andrew Hoody who were let go. From way back when Kane melted down, Rose and Erick must have some kind of arrangement with IHeart to keep their jobs forever because Kane got physical with Erick and IJ (there's a thread on DCUM) and Rose must have been a witness or something? Maybe someone who remembers better can chime in.
