Does she have an eating disorder

No, she’s loved celery since she was a toddler. Her weight is normal.

Sp: I also love celery and no eating disorder. We go through a bag per week. Celery is awesome!

Fresh cut fruit, crudite vegetable platters, home made bread sticks (grissni) or toast points, bruschetta with fresh diced tomatoes marinated in olive oil and sherry vinegar, we make various bean dips and soft cheese spreads, home made pickles, hard boiled eggs...so many options that are far healthier and tastier!

Yeah, me too, but they aren't chips. Ya know?

Same. Clearly they’re not health food but neither are the other kinds of crackers people are naming here. In fact, potato chips have far fewer ingredients- potatoes, oil and salt. Not clear why they’re considered “ultraprocessed” now.

I’m eating too many pretzels. Also salted nuts but they are so high quality. I should do popcorn instead.

Also you might be just craving salt so something like cheese curds or really salty roasted veggies might do the trick. For some reason menopause is making me crazy craving salt when I never did before.

Simple Mills almond flour crackers, Biena chickpeas, and Mary’s gone crackers are good too.

Roasted edamame for me.
My kids love roasted or air fried chickpeas.

I roast chickpeas when I need something crunchy

Anonymous wrote:I've never been big into chips, but for salty crunchy I like carrots and hummus or stovetop popcorn. I'm not sure if the popcorn is any healthier than the chips since I pop it in avocado oil and top with salt and sometimes butter, but at least it's a whole grain!

Can you share the chickpeas recipe?

I also eat stovetop popcorn. Lots of fiber

Yeah, an ounce serving is not going to kill anyone

We’re not huge chips people, maybe a bag a month of organic blue tortilla chips to have with guacamole —

However, we recently tried some Mary’s “super seed” organic crackers at Whole Foods because they were on sale. Believe it or not, legitimately tasty when dipped in guac. Regular crackers wouldn’t be good with guac but these crackers are sturdy and seedy, if that makes sense.
