Ann Romney is the one who encouraged Mitt to go into politics and supported him through decades. Bezos's first wife was instrumental in his success. And this current wife was a pilot and journalist before him and continues to be active in philanthropy. Same with Michelle Obama: I guess by your standards she is not a power woman. Her career was a pretty typical and boring law career. There would be no Barack Obama as POTUS without her.

She has always been a hyperactive people connector. She's had multiple jobs, I don't know if we could call them careers. She's one of the few women helicopter pilots (with Angelina Jolie). She's clearly energetic and driven and she's intelligent but not academic. Her hyperactive ADHD and goals to always marry rich have never led to career development in just one field... but I don't think you should restrict the definition of "power" just to that criteria.
I would call her a power person, yes.
Do I like her? Not particularly. But I recognize the EQ and the street smarts.

Very true.
Stop dragging women down, especially when they're not of your political persuasion.
It's only "dragging women down" if you aspire to have the NYT call you part of a power couple.
By that definition, any married billionaire and spouse = power couple
