I wear "cute outfits" practically every day, even while walking my large rambunctious dog. True, I don't hike or jog, but long walks are fine (and the dog makes me run on some stretches). Cute doesn't have to mean restrictive or uncomfortable. I wear light summer sneakers. I don't like most athletic clothes, because they're polyester and utilitarian, whereas I like cotton, ruffles, flowers, girly stuff like that. Yesterday I wore a dress with ruffles and a straw hat to walk my dog. My gym uniform is a cotton yoga set I found on Fair Indigo. It doesn't stick to me like the usual plastic leggings, which is great.

This is me every day, year-round. So many cute outfits in my closet, waiting to be worn...

Lightweight layer, usually a lightweight shirt worn open. I have several in linen, but you can also do a cotton like this:

If a shirt isn't right, I also have a bunch of cotton cardigans like this:

For shoes I either do a simple sneaker (go to are Reebok Club Cs), a flat sandal (Birkenstock Mayari), or a plain slide in brown or black.
I wear the same standard jewelry most days -- wedding/engagement rings, gold studs or huggie hoops, a modern bronze bangle I've had forever.
I also almost always wear a heat for sun protection, either classic straw fedora or a baseball cap.
