I like Bogota. The north side around Parque El Virrey and Parque 93 is one of the nicest neighborhoods in Latin America. It's greet, walkable, lots of great stores and restaurants, transit rich and the weather is awesome. The diversity of food in Bogota is better than Medellin and other Colombia cities, though I do enjoy Colombian food.

Lots of good hotel options, too. The Holiday Inn at Parque 93 is like a luxury hotel.
