Agree. I think she's best in a straight dramatic role like The King's Speech but she can be too much and Tim Burton dod her no favors in making her into a goth weirdo. I have a feeling this season is going to jump the shark. There are too many actors involved and a strange assortment of them besides. HBC and Sandra Bernhardt seems like overkill of extreme personalities. I saw a list of about 20 people who have signed on. How many storylines can there be? I'll be interested to see what this looks like.

That’s not why I thought it was bad. The script was terrible. Parker Posey and Carrie Coons can read from a cereal box and be great, but outside of those performances it was just awful. Not campy, not lifetimey, not soapy, just really bad storytelling with very high production value.

They start filming later this month, there has been some location scouting and likely some exterior photography but nothing with the cast yet. It will air in 2027, hopefully early so we get White Lotus to help with winter doldrums (this is my favorite White Lotus timing, it's like a mental vacation).

This is the first time the show is filming at a non-Four Seasons property, which for some reason is exciting to me. I have also seen rumors online that they will film some scenes in Paris or elsewhere in France but I don't know if any locations have been revealed. In Thailand for Season 3, they filmed at two resorts and also in Bangkok, whereas in Seasons 1 and 2 I think they really mostly stuck to the main hotel and surrounding areas.
