Agree. I respect the house but as a vacation lodge in the Rockies where you go for a few short stays throughout the year. Not as your primary residence. The exterior is fine, rather nice and different from the usual colonial, but the interiors are too heavy, too much wood, and just feels oppressive, especially on a wet day. It's just too much and it really stamps its personality all over you instead of the other way around. And don't get me started on those stone veneers. So dated.
