Since op hasn’t returned, I’m assuming this was a troll. But just have to laugh about the day they were driving from St George UT to Death Valley to Valley of Fire State Park before doing a “stroll” along the Vegas strip. Lol.

If you aren’t big hikers you definitely should not do Angels Landing. I have done a ton of hiking but skipped it because it’s too dangerous and I hate crowds on a trail.

In 10 days, I did a great roadtrip of the 5 national parks in Utah- flew into Salt Lake City and out of Vegas. With your 4 extra days, you could add the Grand Canyon.

On another 10 day trip, I drove from San Diego to San Francisco. Along the way I did some amazing hikes in Yosemite and Big Sur.

In another 10 day trip, I split up my time among Seattle, Olympic NP, and Mt Ranier. Highly recommend it. North Cascades NP is in that area too, and with 4 extra days I’d have backpacked there. But since you aren’t that into hiking, I’d skip that and do Crater Lake instead. It’s a long drive from Seattle but stunning and there isn’t really much to do except see the lake, so you only need a day or two there. Then fly out of Portland.

I’ve also done a short roadtrip from San Diego to LA that took me through Joshua Tree. There are some other national parks in that area that you could include with more time.

AI planned a road trip for me and it would never have been as ridiculous as the one in the OP.

How do you propose to get from West Yellowstone to see sunrise in Grand Teton? And then drive BACK into yellowstone? Do you plan to sleep?

I think you’re also failing to recognize that you can wait an hour or two in traffic to get into some of these parks. And I not once but twice have been stuck for a very long time in Yellowstone because a slow bison was wandering up the road.

Also I’m not even sure the road from west Yellowstone into the park has reopened since the road washed out a while ago. Did you try to put this into Apple Maps to see how long this drive would take and if there are actually roads? I always do that when planning a trip. I try not to average more than 3-4 hiurs driving a day—you’ve got to have them to eat and presumably want to see things.

I agree with the pp’s. On day six, you have a 5 hour drive to Saguaro NP, then another 6 hours to get to the Grand Canyon. How are you going to drive 11 hours, explore a national park, and make it to the Grand Canyon to see the sunset. This is just not a realistic itinerary.

I don’t mean to pile on but this seem like you just want to get the selfie in the park and then move to the next one. You could very easily spend 4 or 5 days in each of this places.
