+1 and +1 for the "Awesomely Average" group on Facebook. One of my kids was an A/B student (very inconsistent grades due to ADHD) and applied to a bunch of "colleges for B students" but the list was highly focused on rural/small town LACs that have excellent environmental science programs.
There are an abundance of colleges - most of them - that are happy to admit B students. You need to curate a list based on what the student is really looking for. A business student who wants an urban campus would have a completely different list than DD (VCU, Temple, Drexel, St. Joe's come to mind).
