Chris Murphy? Really? Crazy Chris Murphy?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
This is a signal that there is a solid slice of conservatives that are considering a “break glass” moment. Trump has f’d up bigly with Iran. While MAGA is talking big about high gas prices being fine and dandy, and just temporary, the sugar high of owning the libs will pass quickly. As the weeks drag on and high prices (which were already escalating unsustainably) don’t abate, even Trump will lose popularity.

Anonymous wrote:How would this work? I assume vance would have to have 50% of the cabinet on board before he went this route. But how to you line that up without word getting back to Trump, and if word gets back to Trump, does this become a case of treason?

Anonymous wrote:The 25th is very unlikely. It requires a majority of the Cabinet. And if Trump is unwilling to go, it will require two-thirds of both the House and the Senate. It's not so easy.
Impeachment after the midterm is probably more viable. But that will still require 15-20 Republican senators to vote to convict. Hard to see that happening. But after November Trump is a dead weight on Republican prospects. So maybe if the war on Iran goes disastrously wrong. It's still very unlikely.
In an ideal world, the deeply unpopular, rapidly declining geriatric Joe Biden wouldn't have run for reelection and gifted the election to Trump. But here we are. As Obama said, elections have consequences.

Getting rid of trump would make him solid gold with non MAGA Republicans. He will never have the MAGA idolatry but he would never have that even if trump endorsed and campaigned for him. The same for Rubio.
