Your daughter needs to be assertive. Next time the girl does shut everything down down. Base her voice loud and say, "HOLD UP or WAIT A MINUTE”, "LARLA, I notice every time we are in line you cut me. Are you trying me? Can I please get my turn like every else?”

If the girl tries to argue, tell your daughter not to engage anymore and leave it alone. If the girl continues to do it, just leave it alone. The girl may have some more serious problems.

But the Coach will be on notice and the girl will probably be embarrassed. She will most likely stop doing it if she gets exposed that way.

I'm so confused by the posters talking about shoving and self-defense. If your daughter wants to advocate for herself, she just starts speaking up more loudly until other kids and/or the coaches hear. And unless your kid is quite young, you have her try speaking up for herself first. Besides that being what coaches prefer, it's a good life lesson that will serve her well in school and as an adult.
