OP is she chubby or otherwise unattractive? It sounds like your instincts dismissed her out of hand and confused you because she was making an obvious proposition. No woman in 2026 is inviting a man into her hotel room unless she wants to have sex.... and/or sue your emoloyer.

Not OP. But when I first read OP's description, I figured the plan was for them to go from work to dinner, with her driving, but he needed something from his hotel room on the way. Re-reading the post, he doesn't say as much. But, assuming that's true, it wouldn't be that weird for a co-worker to accompany you inside to allow you to kill time or do whatever at the hotel rather than waiting outside. Less weird for a same-sex co-worker than opposite sex.

But, still, it sounds like OP's coworker was looking to fool around.
