I would encourage your child to move on, get excited about the next school, and if things change with the waitlist later on, it will be a fun surprise.

I know a kid who did this, they are happily at UVA now.
With this UVA WISE pathway, can a student still apply to the McIntire School of Commerce? Is there any disadvantage?
