No. It only went to parents if deferred applicants.

My kid was deferred but I didn’t get an email. What did it say?

DD toured before junior year, loved it, decided to apply -- and is prepared to be rejected.
Throughout this whole process, we haven't talked about it much because it's just never felt like anything but hubris to imagine MIT would accept her.

But... It would be a better fit for her than I care to admit.

So, gonna go ahead and join those who are hoping for an acceptance tomorrow! Why not.
