First, Nepal is not SE Asia. You won’t get get to KTM without another stop (transit through Bangkok or Singapore). Are flights in and out of India running? United has non stop from Newark to Delhi and then it’s an easy hop over to KTM.

Exactly. What’s wrong with Delhi? Although there are better ways to get to Bangkok, then through Delhi!

I think PP meant non-stop where it says direct.

There was a previous thread about Eva adding a non-stop between TPE and IAD. Not flying daily, but maybe 4x each week.

EVA has a direct flight from Dulles to Taipei starting in June. We booked that for a Taiwan/Thailand trip in August.

There is also a non-stop from Vancouver to BKK on Air Canada on certain days of the week (looks like Mon, Wed, Sat on the way there and Mon, Wed, Fri on the way back). I thought about doing that when we went last year, but 1) never found a decent price and 2) have almost never had a good experience on Air Canada and didn't want to risk it.
