We get between a 2-4% raise and a modest bonus ranging around 3-4%.

Even in high paying jobs the base pay barely moves at all. It's all performance based bonuses. You could shop around for a different company that does pay for performance. This economy is really tough though.

This is OP. We have bonus but I don't like that system at all. Too much goes in taxes and if you don't finish the entire year at the company and quit, you get nothing for all the hard work you had put in.

3% is top performer at my company.

I have gotten 10% by taking a promotion and title change. But year to year it's 3.

Today every salaried employee received a flat $2500 raise. Per diem and hourly received 5%, which for all the salaried employees would be much more than $2500.

I have always had around 3% annually. Some years a bit less, some a bit more. But without a promotion... I have never had higher. The years inflation is high- it is annoying. But there have also been years where I know plenty of people not getting any raise- so I try to be ok with it. As others have said, big raises have only ever come when moving companies.

I work my ass off, am always available to solve issues, work very hard so that nobody has any complaints against me. Yet, I get a miserable pay raise. This year I got 2.8%. I am really sick and tired of these pathetic raises especially when things are becoming so expensive around.
How are others in full time jobs doing? I am not asking about lawyers and doctors. I am asking about regular professionals.

Same. 3% this year. I’m at the very top of my pay band.

My team was 1-4% raises this year except for one promotion who got 15%. Last year was. 0-3%. Really high performers get the higher numbers and can get larger bonuses. Find out what your boss is rated on and do what you can to make his numbers look good. Document the things that you’re doing well and how they impact the organization. Find out what it takes to get promoted, and let your boss know that is what you want and are working towards.

2-5% is typical. We give the young kids as much as we can early to get them up there quickly. And do mid year %5 extra if we can. When you change levels and increase responsibilities internally there are promotions. But to really go up in $ you have to jump to management or make lots of company moves at 10% min each time.

If you aren’t getting promoted, you need to jump around every 3-4 years to make more money.

I'm getting 20% this year, but that's because I'm getting promoted. Typically we do 3-7%. Pharma, not in DC, Northeast.
