We have this, love it - I found it on a reddit thread of a guy who got confirmation from manufacturer that no plastic.

This one on Amazon is all metal on the interior including the top of the lid where steam hits. No glue lines and no water window. Highly rated on consumer reports too.

OP: I tried. The filter itself is removable but it sits in a plastic holder that is attached to the teapot. I was unable to remove that....I did not want to pull too hard as I did not want to break it.

I have the aarke one and while it is super heavy, I love it. no plastic and it is super easy to descale, like you just scrub everything with a scotchbrite pad and all the calcium lifts off! DC area has soft water but I moved to an area with much harder water. tempted to splurge on their carbonator whenever we can justify it. the stage kettle is good but its very small!
