I don't think Lohan was mentally ill (which is the real hurdle here). She just making bad choice and in the spot light too much. She moved to Dubai and completely disconnected from her celebrity for years.
In the UAE, Lohan discovered something she had never experienced as a global celebrity: anonymity in public spaces. Strict privacy norms and limited paparazzi presence allowed her to live largely unobserved — a freedom she describes as transformative.
“That’s a big breath of fresh air,” she has said of life in Dubai, “having to not overthink everything you do every second.”

I hope she gets the help she needs. Her family and American society really failed her.

It's more than just trauma. She does have actual mental health conditions too.
Anyone would after being in a conservatorship for years. People wither when they don’t have agency. It’s been studied and there are journal articles on it.
People have a right to burn down their lives, waste all their money. Make altered do it all the time and nobody blinks.

This is a silly take. Two things can be true - Britney should not have been under the control of her father and also Britney is a deeply flawed individual who is clearly in need of help.

Do some nature stuff, take out those extensions, stop wearing eye liner and just exist in private for like 10 years. Then come back sober and healthy and write a memoir in her 50s.
