Hilton head and FL have the beaches on the east coast hands down.


Cape Cod beaches are the prettiest IMHO, but the water is a little too cool for me and I hear about too many sharks.. My favorite east coast beaches are on Cape Hatteras.

Op here. Oddly, I absolutely loved Martha’s Vineyard FWIW. I enjoyed MV more than Nantucket and Cape Cod.

Then you probably don’t like all of Cape Cod either? It’s beach, dining, seafood, cliffwalk, and sailing. What did you think it was going to be?

It is one of my favorite places in the US but I love mansions, gardens, history, beaches, and sailing.
