"not a fight" seems like rather a low bar.

So many people worked tirelessly to get that school on track only to be bumped out by leadership. Seems like they are perfectly content with what they've unintentionally created.

As a former CMI family, watching the decline of this school makes me both sad and frustrated. Sad, because most of the years we spent there our kids had wonderful PK and early elementary years with great teachers. Frustrated because we and many others could see the cracks in the management style and team, as well as its turn away from its stated mission. It seems like that turn is complete and it's hard to know what distinguishes CMI from the other fair-to-middling charters, and what makes it a better choice than the in-bounds school for many families.
