Interesting. Studies have shown that food is most appetizing presented on a red plate.

We often host large groups of kids/families for dinner and I don’t like to use disposable plates or cutlery. We have hosted groups of 50 with Corelle, and everything fit in two dishwashers. I have a set of jono pandolfi that is nice, but so heavy and cumbersome. I like being able to grab a stack of 10 plates with one hand, especially when unloading the dishwasher. My wrists are happier with Corelle.

I had to check the date to make sure I didn’t write this. We also have a set of Denny about that long that I love. Ours is Imperial Blue.
That said, I do have 6 Corelle “lunch plates” which are about the size of the Denby salad plates, and we use them daily too. They are very handy for the kids.

Another vote for this. We had the blue stripe earlier and then switched to the white only. May be my imagination or just the lack of color, but the white seems to wear much better. Still looks new years later.
