It’s been 5 years and the sibling still tries to find ways to strike. I most recently had to block them on VENMO. Who tries to harass someone on Venmo??? My sibling.

Don’t burn the bridge.
My sibling would probably tell the hospital “I told her not to drive after 5pm on a Saturday. That’s what she gets.” And would not come.
And even if they did come, fine, that’s just being a human if I had no one else.
I spend more time on vacations and holidays with my spouse nephews and nieces.
But I get real love from my nephews and nieces when I see them few times a year.
I concluded the saying “blood is thicker than water” must be true.
