I always find it weird the fascination of Americans men with trying to appear so masculine and often gun ownership is associated with masculinity. It's really weird. And a lot of them never serve in the military either.
If I were woman personally I'll ask myself why a man feels so unsafe that he needs to walk around with a gun.
Anyways I am not American so my opinion doesn't matter. But I did a 1 year military service which included being stationed for 3 months in a conflict zone with constant artillery fire. Guns are scary folks.

You seem pretty shallow and weird too that you would participate in this two-year online "relationship" with sexually explicit interactions. None of this is real.

It's been long distance but he had moved to my state on a whim. So he conceals carry and I like him, but there are things about him that are very impulsive. And I think he has anxious attachment style too. So I'm a little nervous about meeting him because we also exchanged a lot of sexual stuff and I'm pretty shy in person and reserved. But I'm pretty let loose after you get to know me with friends. So I guess I'm just treading with caution and it's funny because I asked AI where we should meet and it immediately suggested police station or a very crowded place. So I don't know. I don't like online dating but it's the only way to meet people now especially being a shy girl like me. And I can't always tell when that guy likes me.
Bad idea to start out a relationship like this. He won't want a relationship, just a hook up.
Look up the burned haystack method before you head any further.
Then I must be the hottest 40-year-old because he moved here and got a job here in Virginia and his plan is to marry me. Yes, without meeting yet. I delayed it because I am a nervous anxious person too. And I'm shy. That's why I'm not married.
