Having a job as a teen teaches so much more than earning money.

I hate folding even my own laundry and don't force it! We have a space in the laundry room where the most often worn clothes get "neatly" piled up and taken from!

They do their own laundry and then live out of the clean baskets. It bothers me a little, but only because it makes their rooms look messy with a basket or two out on the floor all the time. If they had big walk-in closets to stuff it in so I didn't have to look at it, I wouldn't care at all.

Kids can do their laundry however they see fit. So long as they are doing it.

Same in our household. My two boys negotiate washer/dryer time on the weekend and get clean clothes back up to their rooms. Other than that, I really don't care if the clothes are folded and in drawers. I'm thrilled to not have to worry about their laundry.

Clean is more important than folded IMO.

I hang all shirts, even t-shirts because I don't like wrinkled clothes. Kids also wouldn't wear clothes if they didn't see them hanging.

You can absolutely fold these things. I did it growing up and we do it now in my family.

My kid folds his laundry. He doesn't want to be a wrinkled mess. It is just part of taking care of yourself and a very basic skill.

I fold my teens’ laundry and leave it on top of their dressers to be put away by them. If you open their drawers, it looks as if nothing was ever folded though. I don’t know why I bother. I did not folding their socks though. Mainly because I was sick of turning them right side in. I told them inside out socks get put in their drawer as in. They don’t seem to care, so that’s how I return them now

I have 2 boys and we hang up clothes. Anything folded turns into a mess when they pull out clothes to wear. Usually I sort their clothes into 2 stacks when they come out of the dryer and the boys each hang up their clothes. Only socks and underwear goes in a drawer. Since they can see their clothes there's no mess in their closets.

I don't like wrinkled tshirts. I think it's slovenly personally. But if it works in your house, great.
