I posted this in the Fairmont Mayakoba post but do those trying to pivot, check Redweek. Search your destination or just search "Florida" or “California” and put in your dates. It's a timeshare rental site. If you are looking at the week leading up to Easter, you can get a 3BR at the Marriott Vacation Club in Marco Island with a full kitchen and 3BA for $1420/night. You can get a 2BR, 2BA villa at Marriott Ocean Point in Palm Beach Shores for $664/night! They aren't as nice as a Ritz but they sure beat not going anywhere. Plus there's lots of space, full kitchens and washer/dryers. There’s a Marriott Vacation Club in St. Thomas so you can check that on Redweek as well.

Our spring break trip to Palm Springs, CA was amazing, Joshua Tree in March is spectacular. Perfect weather.

Aruba an St. Thomas are pretty much fully booked for the Easter spring beak week FYI
