Before the snowcrete even had a chance to melt, DCPS announced that they were canceling one of the teacher work days allotted for student conferences and extended the school day at additional day but that meant that now the last week of school has three instructional days that straddle an election day holiday, Juneteenth and a major religious observance, and makes teachers work the following Monday. They ought to figure out something better.
