My kids birthday is mid June. We’ve done a pool party at our neighborhood pool since she was 8. She’ll be 14 this year.
Early June is fine.

My son’s bday is memorial day weekend- we’ll have his party at our local pool, but plan to have corn hole, bubbles, chalk, music etc and don’t expect a lot of kids to be full on in the pool unless it’s unseasonably hot. The pool also has basketball courts and ping pong tables. Even on a typical warm late May day, the water is cold opening weekend! But my kid loves the pool.

We’ll do late afternoon and hope for the best.

I haven’t decided what our bad weather back up plan is. Our house is only a few blocks away, but we’ll figure out a plan to entertain the kids indoors if needed. Maybe some sort of craft something?

Do an indoor pool party. It’s not that much and its guaranteed warm and no rain.

I think it sounds fine! As with any outdoor party, rain backup plan is needed. Afternoon would obviously be warmer.

Bonus if the pool has a playground or area the kids can play if they need a break from swimming.
