It's fine but inconvenient to get back East, of course.

DD wants a specific grad school and career that's more east coast centric so I doubt CA will be a long term thing, but who knows.

The cost of living is unappealing.

Yes. Lots of seniors use it.

And even pulling out a credit card is so much faster than pulling out a checkbook and then writing a check (sometimes also adding it to the ledger). I rarely see that anymore, thank goodness.
