And they never will get him for sex crimes. There are no witnesses coming forward with credible accusations that would withstand a legal challenge. Epstein's emails simply don't have the legal weight you wish they did.

There's a silver lining in getting him for a different crime, in that the victims don't have to testify. Some victims may want their day in court, but I suspect most just want him locked up and not to be exposed to a global media circus.

They didn't get Al Capone for murder, arson, extortion and more. But they eventually got him on something that required him to spend his remaining days locked up in a little tiny prison cell. Tax evasion. People, pay your taxes.
