It’s not good policy to make safety decisions based on “parent outrage” or “days missed so far.” I’m over the snow, too, and I agree this may not even materialize. But they need to make decisions based on the actual road conditions.
Agreed but that’s just been my experience as an MCPS family for close to 20 years. Parents make a big stink about closures and they react by next time opening in crappy weather. Parents were relentless with the criticism after the last storm. Personally, I thought MCPS made a good call staying closed as long as they did.
