I feel like going to the grocery store is the last gasp of what remains of the late 20th century.
We’re all so isolated. Streaming, Delivery, no civic involvement,
I’ll get the groceries and engage

Every time I go to Wegmans, I use the app as my grocery list so I can compare prices. The online ordering is 10-20% higher than shopping in store. So if I'm spending $200 a week on groceries, you are paying closer to $240. It takes me 45 minutes to shop and I get what I want. Worth $40? For me, no. That's how all these apps work. They advertise they are free to use and then jack up the price.
But that’s same in a lot of stores: Costco delivery (even the 2-day grocery delivery) is more expensive than buying the same item at the warehouse, it was same with giant, delivery price for an item was higher in many cases than store price.
