Grain fed (cheap stuff) tastes better. It causes inflammation though and is generally not healthy to eat.

In a pinch and a rush, I bought the packaged 85/15 from Target (don’t come at me) and I kid you not, it was some of the best, most flavorful ground beef we’ve had in a while. My husband even remarked about how good it was.

We can’t figure it out. Make it make sense, please!

You’re pretty insufferable, OP.

Butchers use up their older meat in ground beef.

Butchers use whatever meat they want. They will use good quality meat to keep good quality customers.

PP is getting old meat. I would be embarrassed to admit this.

Smearing independent butchers in a thread about Wall Street owned Target meat. Wow. Enjoy your Target mystery meat and I'll gladly pay a premium for meat from the butcher who goes to our church with his wife and four kids.

Any decent butcher will adjust the fat content / blend to your liking. Use your words. Any decent butcher wants to make you happy, to sell you more product. Tell them how to make you happy.
