Yes I realize that - and my point is that at some point the child may go to college. Regardless whether it is public universities, public K-12, taxes / regardless, VA > MD and DC is a no-go zone. And for private schools - Montgomery CO > VA area. Also, take a hard look at outcomes and use of electronics in Archdiocese of Arlington vs ADW. The only strong elementary Catholic school in the MD area accessible from DC would be St. Jerome's in Hyattsville. MD parent - moved child from ADW to AOB.


There are many strong Catholic K-8’s in Montgomery County that would be more accessible from Foxhall than St Jerome’s. I am a big believer in living close to school, so most of them would still be too far to me, but Little Flower might be worth looking at since it’s quite close to Foxhall. Blessed Sacrament that sits right on the DC side of the line might be too. I think OP will find that OLV, Holy Trinity and Annunciation are good places to start.

And will eventually go to college. Do you want to move another time or start in a place where there are more college options?

Our Lady of Victory all the way -- go for a tour, if possible, and/or meet with the Principal, Shelia Martinez. Fantastic place, we selected it over other options (Catholic and independent) and never regretted the decision for a second.
